Skateboard Trick
Welcome to Skateboard Trick.Info! This site is dedicated to showing you some of the basic tricks and a few advanced ones.
There is a few lingo or say terms you need to learn so instruction can be a bit easier. Let us start with a stance. Stance is way you are standing on the board. There is three types of basic stances you need to skate board. The Regular foot, Goofy foot, and the Mongo foot.
The Regular foot is usually your left foot at the front of the deck while your riding. When you push off however with your right foot, your left will be in the center of the board so you have balance. When you have reached you desired speed your left foot moves up and the right foot is at the back of the board. The regular foot is the most common of all skateboard stances.
The Goofy foot stance is just the opposite. Your right foot rides in the front of the board while your kick off or pushing left foot jumps to the back at the desired speed. Same as the the Regular foot your right foot will be center of the board until you are ready to position to the Goofy foot stance.
The Mongo stance is not preferred by many skaters due to the awkwardness and the loss of speed due to the stance. Instead of having your first position foot in the center of the board and towards the front, the left foot is at the rear of the board while the push off foot will jump to the front. Shaky indeed, but some people prefer to be different.
After you have mastered to ride the board naturally, you are ready for your first skateboard trick, The Ollie. The Ollie trick is a basis for many tricks so that one should be mastered first. Even though, the Ollie is a skateboard trick for beginner, it is a great skateboard trick to learn.
Another extreme cool and excellent base for flatland skateboard tricks, the Ollie Kickflip and the Ollie Airwalk.
